Synopsis by Barnes and Noble:
For seventeen-year-old Janie, getting sucked into other people's dreams is getting old. Especially the falling dreams, the naked-but-nobody-notices dreams, and the sex-crazed dreams. Janie's seen enough fantasy booty to last her a lifetime.
She can't tell anybody about what she does — they'd never believe her, or worse, they'd think she's a freak. So Janie lives on the fringe, cursed with an ability she doesn't want and can't control.
Then she falls into a gruesome nightmare, one that chills her to the bone. For the first time, Janie is more than a witness to someone else's twisted psyche. She is a participant....
My Thoughts:
Discliamer: Do not trust the pillow on the cover, you will not be able to sleep until you have finished this book!
This book was captivating, I was unable to put it down. I read it in about 3 hours. Lisa McMann makes a splash in her first book. The characters are amazing. Janie is an unnatural heroine who can stick up for herself and is tough, unlike many of the girls portrayed in other books. Cabel is also the unliekly character and he too is one you will grow to love. This book was superbly written. The plot is so different than anything else out there fantasy or not. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was a new story, and very fun to read.
Recommendation:
Anyone! Now go read it!
