Random House Children's Books
$14.95 U.S. (Hardcover)
Synopsis by Barnes and Noble:
Josie, Nicolette, and Aviva all get mixed up with a senior boy–a cool, slick, sexy boy who can talk them into doing almost anything he wants. In a blur of high school hormones and personal doubt, each girl struggles with how much to give up and what ultimately to keep for herself. How do girls handle themselves? How much can a boy get away with? And in the end, who comes out on top? A bad boy may always be a bad boy. But this bad boy is about to meet three girls who won’t back down.
My Thoughts:
Interesting. Never judge a book by it's title, because this book was completely different than what I was expecting! This book was a quick read, but i held a lot of meaning. Tanya Lee STopne took careful precaution in forming Josie, Avia, and Nicolette. The girsl were completely different, but in the end became unified by one thing. This is not a book I would have picked up to read myself. I think while it did have good values, that there was something odd about it. It did flow quickly, but the change of setting did not work for me.
Recommendation:
Scourned women.
Grade: B
