In true Blue Blood fashion, the ball is totally fab, complete with masks-and hidden behind this masquerade is a revelation that will change the course of a young vampire's destiny. The thrilling sequel in Melissa de la Cruz's vampire mythology has all the glamour, attitude, and vampire lore that made the first book a hit.
My Thoughts:
I was enthralled by this book! Part of that may have been because I was on a vacation with my family, part was definetley because Melissa de la cruz did a fantastic job following up her book Blue Bloods. Masquerade continues on well where Blue Bloods left off. Again the characters in this book were phenomenal, we gain a deeper look into each of them as the book goes on. In this book we begin to learn more about Bliss as well as Schuyler and the growing threat of the Croatan. The book was everything I expected it to be and more. As promised this book did leave me wanting more and luckily the thrill does continue on in Revelations.
